Get Involved
AI Control Architecture is an open, versioned specification (v0.1.0). It is meant to be adopted, challenged, and improved in the open. A standard is not something one vendor declares, so this is designed with the people who will implement it, including competitors.
There are two ways in.
Become a Steward
Stewards help shape AI Control Architecture before it sets, and help govern it as it grows. It belongs to whoever builds on it, not to any one vendor, and the Stewards are how we keep it that way. We are looking for a small founding group:
- an auditor or assurance firm (does the evidence schema carry what you need?)
- an AI-security or monitoring vendor (will you emit or consume ACA evidence?)
- a systems integrator (will you build connectors?)
- and two enterprises running real AI (does this reduce your control and audit burden?)
Founding Stewards get early influence over the spec, the evidence schema, and the extension contracts, a direct line to the founding steward (Neo Control), and a seat as ACA moves toward multi-stakeholder governance.

Build on ACA
ACA is a small core plus six extension slots, so anyone can build on it: connectors, control packs, crosswalks, tests, and renderers. Start from the open reference implementation and the reference add-ons.
The principle
If ACA becomes portable across your tools, it is a standard. If it only produces plugins for one product, it is just another platform. Design-partner feedback and open contribution are how we stay on the right side of that line.
Everything here is licensed CC BY 4.0. AI Control Architecture is stewarded by Neo Control today, and by a growing group of Stewards as it matures. See Contributing for the formal contribution and governance process.
